A Case Of Murder, Dismemberment, & Necrophilia

Detroit, Michigan- 33 year old Robert Beckowitz’s girlfriend, 21 year old Jeannine Clark, had been cheating on Robert with his very own buddy, 37 year old James Edward.

The gory crime scene photos will be at the very bottom of this post

July 14th of 1982 was just like any other day; the trio had been having out, watching TV. In the middle of a television program, James walked up behind the unsuspecting Robert and shot him point blank in the head.

James and Jeannine hot high as could be, and over the next 3 days they had a sadistic sort of fun with Robert’s remains. He was stabbed anywhere between 80 – 100 times, and they threw his corpse into 14 pieces using a hacksaw. Robert’s remains had been thrown onto trash bags and scattered throughout the home. As if all of this weren’t bad enough, the couple had what is said to have been a continuous orgie with the dead man’s corpse, and they’d posed for photographs during every step of the way.

Once the living couple had their fun, on day number three, Jeannine called police. She claimed that she’d played no role in her boyfriend’s horrendous murder since she’s been held hostage and forced to play along, but her story hadn’t panned out. Several neighbors gave statements that they’d witnessed Jeannine and James leaving she re-entering the home many times during the past few days, and on more than one occasion Jeannine had departed the residence alone.

Along with a few lesser charges, James was charged with 2nd degree murder, he eventually plead guilty; he was sentenced to 30 – 50 years in prison. As for Jeannine, she got off easy. This sadistic killer was only found guilty of mutilating a corpse, and she was sentenced to 7 – 10 years! Jeannine was released back in 1997; surely James is free now as well, but I can find no info on his release.
