Hi y'all, my name is Crystal Bearr and I want to welcome you to my site! Though I was born in Kentucky, I have lived in Southwest Florida since I was a baby. I am happily married since I was 21 and together we have 4 kids. I've rescued more animals in need than I care to admit: parrots, dogs, fish, cats, you name it and I can almost guarantee that I’ve homed it! They’re my weakness. At the moment I have a couple of cats, two puppers, a flock of parrots - I was handfeeding a baby Scarlet Macaw as a teenager. I have big plans for this site – it is not going to be just another blog! I am diligently working to turn this site into a social forum which will stand alone without fb or insta. I already have a discussion forum up and running in which you may add your own topics, post links and photos, whatever you like without fear of removal! Now I'm working on adding groups for you to join. My husband and I are also planning on getting that podcast y’all keep asking for in the near future, a YouTube - oh, and merch! I promise it’s on the to-do list, just as soon as I get this site just right and accumulate the funds needed to do so 🤍 This site is absolutely not free - it costs me $350 per year. I put in more approximately 60 hours a week researching, writing, & editing these articles.
